PRODUCTS FAMILY - Woven fabrics

Woven fabric processing refers to the conversion of the woven textile substrate into a value added and usable material with functional properties for end use in a sustainable way.

This involves processes such as:

  1. 1. Preparation or pre-treatment: Removes natural or added impurities from the grey fabric for making the woven fabric ready for value addition.
  2. 2. Coloration (dyeing or printing): Adds aesthetic and visual appearance to the fabric
  3. 3. Finishing: Performed as the last process of woven fabric processing to incorporate functional requirements for end use. In woven fabric processing, the finishing process adds further and considerable value through mechanical treatment or application of functional chemistry and fixing them. The processes are divided into wet processing and dry processing

Woven fabric processing is customised according to market trends, functional requirements, and end-user preferences, enhancing its overall value and versatility. Technological advancements and automation on dyes and chemical dispensing have resulted in increased sustainability, efficiency, productivity, and customisation in woven fabric processing.
