Valence – the first Indian company to manufacture ex-proof, ATEX certified static charge eliminators

In many industrial applications, excessive static electricity on objects being processed causes problems like fire hazards, shocks to operators, reduced productivity, and dust or dirt accumulation leading to quality problems. Hence static charges need to be neutralised with the help of static charge eliminators. The closer the static eliminators are positioned to the moving charged target which is being processed, the more effective they are at removing static charges. As a result, in certain processes, the static eliminators need to be installed in hazardous locations that are explosion prone.

Valence will be launching its explosion proof ATEX certified static charge eliminating bars in PlastIndia 2018 exhibition to be held at Gandhinagar, Gujarat. Valence is the first Indian manufacturing company to launch ATEX certified static charge eliminators.

A row of electrodes, provided along the active length of the static eliminating bar, generates ions of both polarities, ensuring that positive and negative charges are quickly and effectively neutralised. These shock-less spark-free static charge eliminators are helpful in improving output quality and enhance productivity due to fewer machine stoppages. By passive discharging through electrodes, static eliminators are safe to use even when the power supply is off. Static eliminating bars are powered by high voltage AC power sources and make up a compact, sturdy and efficient electrostatic charge removal system.
