A.T.E. unveils novel technologies for print and packaging at PackPlus 2017

A.T.E. exhibited a range of products for the print and packaging sector at PackPlus 2017 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, from 3 to 6 August 2017. The displays, from A.T.E.’s business units: Print and Packaging Equipment, HMX, and Valence Electrons, all received considerable interest. A particular highlight were A.T.E.’s two new product launches at the show:

1. ViewAXIS Tera: A first of a kind full print repeat monitoring system. A.T.E. has innovated and offered a unique solution to the printing industry.
2. Viscosity Controller: Manufactured by Fasnacht, Switzerland, and marketed in India by Valence Electrons.

Other products exhibited at the show were:

• ViewAXIS Mega: A video-based print monitoring system, to view steady images of webs running at production speeds.
• Valstat: Active/passive electrostatic bars to eliminate static electricity, thereby enhancing productivity and safety.
• Valflow: Ink conditioning and handling systems to maintain optimal ink temperature and ink filtration, for better print quality and reduced solvent evaporative losses.
• Lamiflow: Air to air heat exchangers that reuse the hot air exhausted from the printing and laminating processes to preheat fresh air and save energy costs. 
• Ambiator: Industrial cooling and ventilation solutions based on IDEC (Indirect Direct Evaporative Cooling) technology for creating positive pressure and reduced VOC (volatile organic compound) levels. 

A.T.E.’s stall attracted a good number of footfalls and visitors showed a keen interest in the products on display, exemplified by a large number of quality leads received for these products. The show also reinforced the pivotal role played by A.T.E. in the print and packaging sector with innovative and cost-effective solutions.
